History Products and Services Branches    HISTORY It was in 1994 when two solid financial organizations of the Armed Forces and Police, the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFP-MBAI) and the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (AFP-SLAI), initially hatched the dream of forming a bank in tribute to all “uniformed men” of the land. The bank they envisioned would primarily address the financial needs of these modern-day heroes to enable them to face the challenges of the coming new century with greater hope for themselves and for their loved ones. CENTENNIAL SAVINGS BANK, with Head Office at the Prestige Tower in Emerald Avenue, Ortigas, Pasig City, opened on February 18, 1998 to serve all military and police personnel, as well as their dependents. Said bank, of course, also aims to gain a big share of the general public for its clientele. It pays homage as well to all heroes of the modern time -- Filipinos from all walks of life, educated or not, who, in their own little ways, help make this nation great.
